I strongly believe in rescuing and adopting your pet over buying from a pet store. Pet stores tend to carry puppies that have been bred at a puppy mill where the standards are less than satisfactory (which is putting it mildly).

There are rescue groups for just about every breed you can imagine and shelters carry dogs of all breeds and some shelters will even keep their eye out for a particular breed if you’re being particular.
